Uruguay Team News & Line-up:

The Uruguay side are to stick to the same formation that beat Mexico 1-0 in the final group stage match. Oscar Tabarez could be tempted to bring in defender Diego Godlin, replacing Mauricio Victorino, who is one booking away from suspension.

Victorino, Lugano, Fucile are one booking away from suspension.

South Korea team News & Line-up:

Coach Huh Jung-moo could drop defender Cha Du-ri, who was at fault for Nigeria’s opening goal in the 2 – 2 draw in their final Group B match – it is reported that Kim Dong-jin is the favourite to replace him.

Yeom Ki-moon, Lee Chung-yong & Kim Nam-il are one booking away from suspension.

Head-to-Head:

– The teams have only met once in 1990, with Oscar Tabarez overseeing the match that year.
– S. Korea have not beaten Uruguay during their 5 meetings, with Uruguay have winning 4 of them and 1 draw.
