Cristiano Fed Up As His World Cup Dreams Are Over But Spain Celebrate

Portugal and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly spit at a cameraman after his country lost to Spain 1-0.

Portugal captain Ronaldo reacted angrily to the cameraman’s attempts to follow him off the pitch in close proximity immediately after the final whistle, waving him away before spitting in his direction while looking down the barrel of the camera, an act that was broadcast around the world.

When he was taking out his frustration on the man behind the lens, he spitted onto the lens which was showed all around the world, and it made fans upset because it looked like he was spitting towards them in an ugly manner.

Ronaldo failed to score goals in the tournament, only scoring once on Portugal’s 7-0 trashing of DPR Korea in the group stages.

He also told the media to “talk to Carlos Quieroz” about Portugal elimination at the World Cup. Spain’s David Villa netted the only goal at the 63rd minute which sent Spain forward to the quarter finals, setting a date with Paraguay.
